Local Ministry / Meeting Opportunities
MONDAY:
•Prayer meeting at the Corinth Bowling alley at 7am to 7:40am. Just Great Prayer... the best way to start the week! For Men only. No advance notice required... Just show up!
•Bible study at the County Jail. For Men only. 5pm to 6pm. Requires a form to be filled out in advance and signed by your pastor for visitation rights. Contact Travis Smith at 287-6795 for more infotmation.
•“English as a Second Language” classes for Adults. Also, TUTORING Hispanic Children with their homework. Sponsored by the Alcorn Baptist Association, held in the “Awana” building at Oakland Baptist Church in Corinth. 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
TUESDAY:
•Tutoring at the Comb’s Court Community Center in Corinth as a part of the Lighthouse mission under Gary Caveness. 3:30 - 5pm. OK to show up at 4pm if need be. No advance notice required... Just show up! Only during the School year.
• Food Bank ministry at Unity Baptist Church. 12pm to 1:00pm. Bag food, give your testimony, help with bookeeping, be a counselor, lead a song, or get a chance to witness to folks! Just show up, no advance notice required.
WEDNESDAY:
•Men’s Bible Study at 1st Presbyterian Church on Shiloh Road in Corinth.
530am - 630am Inter-denominational. No advance notice required.
THURSDAY:
•Men’s Bible Study/Lunch at the Assocational Office located North end of Lowes Parking lot. Noon to 1pm. Inter-denominational. No advance notice required... Just show up! We are working from the book “Man in the Mirror” if you have a copy... bring it.

FRIDAY:
•Mens Prayer Group and devotion at the Lighthouse in Corinth 7am to 8am. Inter-denominational. No notice required.
SATURDAY:
•Men’s Bible Study & Prayer at the Corinth Bowling alley. 7am to 8am. Inter-denominational. Powerful stuff. This is one of the best small groups for men going anywhere. No advance notice required... Just show up!
•Jail Ministry at the Corinth city jail. 8:30am to 9:30am. Requires a form to be filled out in advance and signed by your pastor for visitation rights. You will receive a permanent ID badge. In coordination with the Gideons... membership not required. For Men only.
SUNDAY:
•Hispanic Ministry - Church service. Folks needed for child care, logistics support, and fellowship. 5pm to 6:30pm.
Hispanic Ministry sponsored by the Alcorn Baptist Association, held in the “Awana” building at Oakland Baptist Church.
